Fortress Chain Link Gate & Cantilever

The Fortress Heavy Duty Slide Gate, manufactured by Tymetal Corp., is the highest quality Fortress cantilever gate system available. This slide gate is suitable for manual or automatic gate operation and has been installed at thousands of perimeter security projects across the USA. These gates comply with the latest industry safety standards for automatic gates (UL 325 and ASTM F2200-02) and are appropriate for single gate openings up to 30 feet (up to 60 feet for double gates). Tymetal cantilever gate systems can be operated by a variety of electric gate operators (chain or hydraulic drive). Fortress Gates are designed to provide rigidity and stability with interlocking aluminum extrusions that set Tymetal apart from other aluminum gates. The track extrusion is keyed to fit exactly into the top frame extrusion. This continuous track keying along with certified welding procedures produce an aluminum cantilever gate that stands up to continuous duty in all weather conditions. The frame, fabricated from aluminum alloy with primary members (top and bottom) rectangular in shape with a cross section not less than 2" x 5", has vertical members at the ends of the frame with a cross section of no less than 2" x 2" (intermediate vertical members are 1" x 2"). The frame is supported from the track of extruded aluminum alloy by two self-aligning, 4-wheeled, sealed lubricant, stainless steel ball bearing truck assemblies. The enclosed trucks are protected from dirt and weather and provide effortless operation, eliminating pinch points without need for roller covers.
