For maximum security applications and openings up to 30? wide, PLUSS 10 features (2) 10-inch hot-dip galvanized structural steel channels joined together to form the overhead supporting track. Trolley wheels, milled from a single block of steel, are hardened to Rockwell 30, and include two sealed ball bearings per wheel. Ideal for door weights up to 6,500 lbs.
Remote "open-close-stop" push buttons control the steel doors. In the event of an emergency or power failure the operator may be unlocked with our paracentric key and hand cranked. As is the case with all PLUSS Correctional Series Operators, gear ratios are set so that the door easily moves in synch with any manual cranking.
