Chain Drive Operator with Structural Gate System - Up to 40' Opening





The TYM-2000 Operator - designed as part of a complete gate system

Imagine acquiring a gate and gate operator from a single manufacturer with factory certified cycle testing of the complete gate and operator system (to over 50,000 cycles!).

A complete gate system compliant with UL 325 and ASTM F2200, designed and engineered as a whole, providing for trouble free installation, low maintenance, long service life, with a 1 hp continuous duty PSC motor and 208 or 230 VAC single phase power.

As a response to industry requests to eliminate common job site gate system problems, Tymetal Corp. has developed the TYM-2000 gate operator, specifically designed to install easily and accurately, resulting in a reliable trouble-free automated gate system.

  • APeX Controller with integrated radio receiver, plug in loop detector capability and surge protection with 24 VDC power available for control accessories

  • Full featured controls for access integration, security and entrapment protection

  • Integrated maximum run and auto close timer (0-9 minutes)

  • Continuous tone entrapment alarm with reset button

  • Integrated programmable warning beeper during gate movement

  • Attractive durable cover with “critter plate” and mounting pedestal provided to protect against pests and weather related operational problems

  • #40 drive chain with “Armor Coat” corrosion resistant coating (superior to nickel plating)

  • Cold weather package including heater, special oil and V-belt

  • Designed for ease of installation and reliability with gate specific hardware and chain included

  • LED diagnostic display for ease of set up and trouble shooting

  • Extra limit switches (total =4) for additional gate status functionality (for optional gate locks, etc.)

  • Simple and secure manual operation during power failure (optional remote cable kit for outside-the-gate access)
