The TCGR-12 Box Frame Cantilever Slide Gate is ASTM F2656 M50-P2* certified (equivalent to U.S. Department of State K12). Will stop a 15,000 pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph within 1 to 7 meters. The TCGR-12 utilizes a robust box frame design that allows the user flexibility to match almost any fence line while providing M50/K12 crash rated protection for those openings.

What distinguishes the crash-rated TCGR-12 from alternative crash-rated cantilever slide gates?
The TCGR-12 utilizes a box frame design, allowing it to span single clear opening widths up to 26 feet. It was crash tested at 26 feet (clear opening width), which is unusually large for a test. Most companies elect to test smaller sizes, as it may be easier to achieve a better result. The frame structure consists of two panels trussed together to form the 1’-8” wide gate panel. The engineered structure allows for a longer and taller cantilever style slide gate, as well as presenting an intimidating appearance. As with all TYMETAL cantilever slide gates, ground tracks, ground wheels and overhead support not needed.
What crash rating/performance level does the TCGR-12 achieve?
The TCGR-12 Cantilever Slide Gate has been crash tested in accordance with ASTM F2656-15-M50-P2, and certified by an accredited independent testing facility. It can stop a 15,000 lb. vehicle traveling at 50 mph within 1 to 7 meters upon impact.
What drive/operator systems and control options are compatible with the TCGR-12?
The TCGR-12 can be operated manually or equipped with an electromechanical chain drive or hydraulic rail drive operator. While typical speed is 1 foot per second, speeds up to 3 feet per second are available. Features include soft start/stop, battery backup and compatibility with virtually all access control and UL325 approved safety devices. All operators are UL325 compliant. Control options include keypad, card reader, push-button consols, loop detectors and remote operatoration interfaces.
