The crash-rated fencing can be placed next to — in front or behind — a fence line of any type. It transforms that otherwise ordinary fence into fencing that can withstand the impact of a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 30, 40 or 50 mph.
TYMETAL’S crash-rated cable fencing was crash tested, resulting in a rating of ASTM F2656 M50-P1 (K12). M30 and M40 versions with P1 or P2 penetration ratings are also available. The cable fence can be installed as “stand alone” fencing, as well.
