For example, steel counterweights running inside the vertical support columns balance the gate’s weight. This minimizes stress on the gate and reduces the power demand on the motor.

- Heavy W12x53 superstructure
- Solidly engineered #60 chain drive mechanism, complete with counterweights
- Engineered footings (including rebar cages and anchor bolts) to ensure smooth and precise up-and-down movement
- Four truck assemblies to hang the gate panel, with four sealed and permanently lubricated roller bearings traveling inside a smooth aluminum track on each assembly
- Continuous loop drive system directly connected to the counterweight in each support column to ensure precision operation
- Crank handle drops out of motor box for manual operation if no power
