TYMETAL’s Vertical Lift Gate is engineered to operate flawlessly as a complete system and features a thoughtful design. For example, steel counterweights running inside the vertical support columns balance the gate’s weight. This minimizes stress on the gate and reduces the power demand on the motor.
Additional features include:
- Heavy W12x53 superstructure
- Solidly engineered #60 chain drive mechanism, complete with counterweights
- Engineered footings (including rebar cages and anchor bolts) to ensure smooth and precise up-and-down movement
- Four truck assemblies to hang the gate panel, with four sealed and permanently lubricated roller bearings traveling inside a smooth aluminum track on each assembly
- Continuous loop drive system directly connected to the counterweight in each support column to ensure precision operation
- Crank handle drops out of motor box for manual operation if no power
