September is one of the busiest months on TYMETAL’s event calendar, anchored by our presence at Global Security Exchange, one of the physical security industry’s largest annual gatherings. We’ll also be connecting with the fence contractor community at a regional AFA chapter event in Oklahoma. TYMETAL will be on hand at both, and we welcome the opportunity to talk through perimeter security needs across a wide range of facility types.
Whether you’re a specifier evaluating crash-rated barriers for a high-security site or a dealer looking to discuss product lines for upcoming projects, these events offer a direct line to our team.Â
Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2026
Atlanta, GA | September 14-16, 2026 | Booth #1022 | gsx.org
GSX is one of TYMETAL’s biggest events of the year, and 2026 is no exception. Organized by ASIS International, the show is widely regarded as the flagship conference and exposition for the physical security industry, drawing thousands of attendees to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta over three days. The audience spans nearly every sector we serve, including facility security directors from airports, data centers, correctional institutions, government buildings, universities, and energy infrastructure sites, alongside architects, consultants, integrators, and specifiers responsible for evaluating and procuring perimeter security equipment.
The scale of the show is part of what makes it valuable. With hundreds of exhibitors and multiple concurrent education tracks covering everything from emerging threats to facility hardening strategy, GSX attracts attendees who are actively researching and comparing solutions, not just browsing. That makes it one of the highest-value events on our calendar for substantive, in-person conversations.
Find us at Booth #1022, where our team will be on hand to walk through our full range of commercial security gates, crash-rated barriers, bollards, and correctional gate systems, along with our custom fabrication capabilities for facilities with non-standard requirements. We’ll be prepared to discuss product performance across different site conditions, answer technical questions about ratings and compliance, and talk through how our systems apply to specific projects, whether you’re in early planning stages or actively evaluating manufacturers for an upcoming installation. Given the breadth of attendees, our team will be ready to tailor the conversation to whatever sector or facility type you’re working in.
Midwest Chapter AFA 2026 Golf Tournament, Education & GADS
Afton, OK | September 17-19, 2026 | americanfenceassociation.com
This regional gathering, hosted by the Midwest Chapter of the American Fence Association, is built around the people who install and distribute fencing and gate systems on the ground. The three-day event combines education sessions, a distributor show, and a golf tournament, giving contractors, dealers, and suppliers across the region a chance to connect outside the usual pace of day-to-day project work.
Chapter events like this one bring together a tighter-knit group of fence contractors and distributors who often work in similar markets and face similar installation and specification challenges, which makes for direct, practical conversations. For TYMETAL, that means talking with the contractors who are actually installing our gate and fencing systems in the field, hearing what they’re running into on job sites, and making sure they have what they need to spec and install our products correctly.
Our team will be at the event to meet with contractors and distributors, answer questions about our product lines, and discuss how our gate systems fit into the projects they have coming up. It’s also a good opportunity to strengthen relationships with the dealer network that helps bring TYMETAL products to markets across the Midwest.
