Specification Types of Crash-Rated Fencing
The TCF-CR-50P1 crash-rated fence meets ASTM F-2656-15 (M50-P1) and is listed on the Department of Defense Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List. Install it as a “stand alone” barrier or behind a perimeter fence for a less obtrusive appearance while still maintaining maximum security. Alternatively, choose one of TYMETAL’s finishes and incorporate decorative rail coverings for the cables to achieve a sleek look. It’s also available in ASTM F2656 M30 (K4), M40 (K8) and other M50 (K12) crash rated configurations.
This crash fence can be shipped as hot-dipped galvanized or zinc primed with epoxy paint or powder coated. The selection of finishes allows you to achieve a pleasing aesthetic in any setting, proving that crash-certified fences can also look stylish.

This certification confirms the fence will stop a 15,000-lb vehicle traveling at 50 mph within a penetration distance of 1 meter, making it suitable for the most demanding force protection perimeter applications.
How is the fence constructed to resist vehicle impact?
The TCF M50 P1 K12 fence uses heavy structural steel posts embedded in deep reinforced concrete foundations, with the rail and panel system engineered to transfer the full kinetic energy of a K12-rated vehicle strike into the ground.
